Fundraising

Our business model focuses on keeping businesses and people active within the community while minimizing debt. To achieve this, we utilize three main fundraising channels:

 Equity Funding - We offer equity in our target businesses and industries starting at a $100 investment threshold. We accept both accredited and non-accredited investors. Equity purchases are limited to Louisiana residents, in line with SEC Rule 147(a) Exemption and Louisiana state legislation. Further stipulations are detailed in our Equity Investment Terms and Conditions. Our goal is to divest up to 32% equity in the businesses we acquire.

 Donations - We welcome donations of any amount via our website and at various in-person events across Louisiana throughout the year. Our aim is to establish a self-sustaining network of business partnerships and acquisitions. Consequently, donations are not tax-deductible, as we are not a registered charity. This approach ensures compliance with SEC and state regulations when we offer equity in our acquired companies.

 Sales of Merchandise - SOS Merchandise is available for purchase on our e-commerce platform and at events we attend. We encourage the distribution of our merchandise to promote our mission, alongside sharing our website through social media and personal recommendations. Additionally, we employ crowdfunding, offering equity and merchandise as incentives for different donation tiers.
